What is aerothermy?

Aerothermy consists in the use of the energy contained in the air around us. This energy is constantly being renewed from the solar energy received by the earth's crust, turning the air into an inexhaustible source of energy.
This use is made by aerothermal heat pumps, mainly for heating systems and for the production of high temperature sanitary hot water.

aerothermal

Aerothermal heat pumps, unlike conventional air-to-water heat pumps, are designed and built for maximum energy from outside air in very severe climatic conditions, both in winter and summer.

Thanks to the oversizing of its components, they are able to capture more energy from the outside. They also have a specially designed compressor that allows reach working temperatures above 60ºC. This particularity makes them suitable to replace boilers in conventional heating systems or as a source of production of ACS (Sanitary Hot Water) throughout the year .

The development of aerothermal heat pumps makes it possible for them to be an alternative to conventional heating systems. Given these, the installation and start-up process is simpler and safer and the maintenance requirements of this type of equipment are very low.

Aerothermal heat installations do not depend on a fuel storage that must be renewed periodically or specific connections, and the location of the machines is not conditioned by chimneys or production of combustion gases.

A modern heating installation with aerothermal heat pumps , allows us to combine low-temperature heating systems with the simultaneous production of DHW in the proper hygienic conditions and with a good installation design, with the same system to carry out cooling in summer without losing the other capacities.
The total operating costs of aerothermal heat pumps is one of the lowest of the heating systems and due to their excellent energy use they contribute to a reduction of global CO2 levels.

Spain does not reduce CO2 emissions

AEROTERMIA is a clean technology that extracts up to 77% of the energy from the air.

  • Aerothermal machines are heat pumps of latest generation designed to provide cooling in summer, heating in winter and, if desired, hot water all year round.
  • Aerothermal, when it works in heating or hot water, extracts the energy contained in the outside air, even with freezing temperatures and transfers it to the room or tap water.
  • Depending on the quality of the equipment and its energy rating, we provide more energy in heating for each kWh of electricity consumed. For a unit with 4,5 heating performance, we provide 4,5 kW of heating power for each kW of electricity consumed. Therefore 78% of the energy provided is free.

Aerothermal is a clean energy.

  • Does not burn nothing to heat. It does not emit fumes. It does not produce combustion locally.
  • It is a technology that unites electricity, mechanics and chemicals to take advantage of the energy of the outside air. Use the refrigeration cycle direct in refrigeration and inverse, heat pump, in heating and hot water.
  • In line with the 2016 Paris climate treaty, adopted by more than 170 countries, we can affirm that, in the future, aerothermal energy will be the only heating and one of the keys in the decarbonization of human activity.
  • The heat aerothermal is sustainable. The heat pump is renewable.

Aerothermy is savings.

  • The energy that drawn from the air is free.
  • You only pay for electricity consumption, which can be only 22% of the energy contributed for a machine with a yield of 4,5 (such as Toshiba's Estia Gamma).
  • Thanks to this low consumption andenergetic against gas, diesel, fuel oil, propane, pellets ..., is already the energy solution in office buildings, airports, cinemas, clinics and any type of business or public building.
  • Aerothermal energy is already a reality as a heating and cooling system in homes, also in domestic hot water (DHW).
