The power of waves to generate energy

The movement of the waves of the sea by its force has great potential to produce electricity This type of energy is called wave power.
It is ideal for countries with a large coastline in their territories.
This is a source of renewable and clean energy which is estimated to have a capacity to produce 2000 gigawatts of energy.
There are different ways of producing energy by the movement of the waves of the sea. The most used so far is a system that includes electric buoys located in the sea that move a piston and this, in turn, a generator that produces electrical energy. Electricity comes to land via undersea cables.
In England a very promising device was created to efficiently capture wave energy called anaconda. It is a very long rubber tube closed at both ends with water inside. It is submerged between 40 and 100 meters.
The operation is quite simple as the waves move with force, the tube full of water moves that presses to exit at one end there is a turbine that begins to work by this force and generates the electricity that is then transmitted by cables to the ground.
The advantage of this prototype is that it is cheaper than other types of technology, low maintenance cost and can be more resistant over time. Portugal is one of the countries that uses this method and plans to expand it in the near future.
Even the wave technology It lacks further development to be able to achieve better results and lower investment costs since it is high so far.
But more and more countries are becoming interested in this energy source, so it guarantees that investments continue to be made in improving or creating technology capable of harnessing the energy produced by waves with a low environmental impact.

This new way of producing energy is very interesting, it is a system that I hope many countries will choose to produce, especially because it is necessary that we begin to take care of our planet / Venezuela
