This sustainable mobility plan launched has 23 different initiatives. One of them, the most prominent could be, is to help with $6.000 to employees who purchase an electric car. This initiative marks Iberdrola's commitment to environmental policy and sustainable development issues, and employees can receive this money if they promote the vehicles acquired for three years.
This plan called "Electric vehicle for employees" It has an investment of around 1.3 million euros. The best example of sustainable development and publicizing the environmental policy that respects the environment and that promotes new green technologies, is making your employees have electric vehicles. The plan will be in effect until the end of 2016. For now, it has only been implemented in Spain and the United Kingdom, but it is intended to expand to the rest of the countries where Iberdrola is present.
Apart from the financial aid for employees who purchase an electric vehicle, they have other types of aid. All these aids are compatible with the Government Movea Plan whose subsidies for electric vehicles range from 2.700 and 5.500 euros. The Ministry's plan also helps with subsidies to local charging points.
