This is the revolution in energy efficiency in buildings. These constructions consume exactly the same amount or less than what they produce by itself. In this way, its consumption is so small that it is completely self-sufficient. In fact, its energy capacity can go even a little further, also supplying other nearby buildings. Thus, all this is possible thanks to renewable energies.
A zero building has to meet certain conditions to be as efficient. The first thing is to reduce energy demand as much as possible. With consumption reduction measures we will also reduce the costs of the facilities themselves.
Once the house consumes very little, we can only equalize the ratio between energy expenditure and production. Thus, our home will be able to generate its own energy using renewable energy.
