En China is already selling more cheap electric cars than in all the rest of the world combined. This was reported by the Reuters agency, which also focuses on the type of vehicle that triumphs and in their reasons.
Unlike other markets, such as America or Northern Europe, in the Asian country the models that are promoting this technology They are Chinese brands and with less scope of autonomy than other foreign manufacturers such as Tesla or Nissan.
Fortunately, if we look at the figures for electric car sales in Spain last September they have been spectacular, despite not having government aid.
Electric cars in Spain
The main protagonists of the past month have been the Smart and the BMW i3. The first has managed to deliver 108 units of the ForTwo, and 42 units of the FourFour.
Smart
A true record for the German manufacturer, which in a single month managed to reach 150 units, practically the same delivered throughout 2016, when it closed the year with 155 units. Figures that allow ForTwo to close the month with a cumulative 223 units, and ForFour with 86 units.
BMW i3
For his part, BMW i3 It has also closed the month with record figures. In September, the i3 has managed to register 110 units of the BEV version, and another 14 units of the Rex. Numbers that raise the accumulated of this model to 526 units (388 BEV, 138 Rex). 97% more than last year at this point.
And the big question is, where does this sudden success of the Smart and i3 come from? Renault ZOE
