There are many new inventions that have been developed thanks to the action on renewable energies and the interest to improve them for a future with better energy efficiency and aimed at transition. What are these new inventions?
Smart sunflowers
New technological inventions developed from the environment, such as the sun and the wind they have revolutionized markets and research. Among these new inventions we find a photovoltaic sunflower, a wind tree, a solar mushroom, etc. That will help to get renewable energy from the elements of the environment and achieve sustainability.
Smart sunflowers have a smart connection circuit that spans the surfaces of solar panels and modules. This offers a great advantage: allows it to be moved according to the position of the sun to optimize the amount of light it receives, just like a real sunflower does. This mechanism of adaptation to the orientation of the sun provides a performance of 40% higher than traditional installations.
Sunflowers have monocrystalline panels in the shape of petals. They are made with a glass that provides a longer useful life and is highly resistant to the different climatic events in the area such as heavy rains, winds, etc. In addition, its installation is very easy. It occupies only 18 square meters of moving solar panels. It is screwed to the floor or directly on the ground and is capable of generating up to 5.500 kWh per year.
At sunset, the solar panel automatically folds back to the rest position and makes cleaning the panels easier. It also does so when it detects wind at more than 54 kilometers per hour to avoid possible damage to the installation and a reduction in its performance (remember that as the wind increases, the amount of solar radiation that hits the surface is less). It has a cooling system that optimizes energy production between 5% and 10% more than the panels that are fixed.

Another of the energy inventions designed for the environment is the wind tree. It is a tree-shaped wind turbine. It has a structure 10 meters high and 7,5 meters wide. It contains 63 sheets of very resistant plastic material (ABS) that capture the wind and transfer the energy through a generator located at the base of each one.
The efficiency and performance of this tree is quite high. Only one of these wind trees is capable of generating 3 kW of power instantly, and about 1.900 kWh in a year.
Mushrooms and solar tiles
In this week, the host of the television program 'Volando voy', Jesús Calleja, has presented some solar mushrooms that are capable of recharging mobile phones.
