Innovation in renewable energies is the order of the day and they do not cease to surprise us with some systems where we ourselves can generate our own energy to use it.
For example, a mini outdoor gym where the time spent exercising is used to recharge the mobile battery or like now, a floating gym that navigates our generated energy, not bad as it sounds, right?

It's fascinating to see how the energy generated by a workout in the gym can really help power a boat. It offers a tangible experience from which the definition of 'electrical energy' is often abstract.
I will not stay only with the words of Carlo and the architects of the Carlo Ratti Associati studio (Italians) have designed this floating gym that moves thanks to human energy (which is represented as kinetic energy) contributed by an exercise session.
This gym, which can also be called a “boat”, has been designed to navigate the river Seine (with about 776 km in length and located in Paris), it has a revolutionary system with which it is helped to be propelled known as Technogym YOU ARTIts function? The one mentioned above, this system uses the kinetic energy generated by motivated people who exercise on a bicycle.
As to gym or boat designWhatever you prefer to call it, it's as close as possible to a crystal clear bubble.
You could even say that the design is inspired by the Bateaux Mouches, classic ferries from the early twentieth century that are used to take tourists along the Seine.
The ship is about 20 meters long with enough capacity to hold 45 people.
It is also adapted for use ARTIS bikes and cross trainers, which with the help of the energy generated by people will be able to move the boat.
Still, you may think that sailing in this way is a bit difficult, what if there are only about 10 people? What if they get tired? upper cover solar panels as a supplementary energy source.

Technogym, Terreform ONE and URBEM, project designers have thought of everything and it also has installed augmented reality screens which will show active users the amount of energy they are producing as well as important data on the environmental conditions of the river Seine, being able to monitor the state of the river in real time with the help of the sensors incorporated both in the boat and in the training equipment.
Isn't it cool? It will be difficult to know, for example, the quality of the river because it is necessary to know some biological parameters such as identifying macroinvertebrate species but they will be made known easy to measure chemical parameters such as nitrites and nitrates or even pH.
Obviously this is an assumption since I do not know 100% guarantee the parameters that the built-in sensors are capable of measuring.
