Energy from wastewater

For all the cities of the world the sewage water They are a major problem that they have to face by installing treatment plants for debugging. But for some years now, technology, methods and systems have been researched and created that take advantage of this waste to serve as a basis for generating energy.

The possibilities of reusing wastewater are various such as obtaining biogas, electricity, air conditioning with constant heat from water, electricity produced by bacteria found in waste and others.

Some examples that are currently in operation are:

  • In the city of Wolfsburg in Germany it has a system that obtains energy from liquid waste by which biogas is obtained that is used in the plant itself, and it is also possible to obtain fertilizer for agricultural use.
  • In the city of Basel, Switzerland, technology is being developed that recovers heat from wastewater that goes through purification treatment. This heat is reused for heating. Similar experiences take place in Germany.
  • In the United States, projects with different technologies are being implemented to take advantage of the methane that is produced by mixing wastewater and organic garbage. Methane is achieved through microorganisms that degrade the waste and the gas is produced.

Other methods of obtaining energy is the manufacture of microbial fuel cells. The process consists of the microorganisms metabolizing the organic residues of the sewage, releasing electrons that produce electrical power.

These are just some experiences that are being tested in the world, in order to reduce waste from polluted water and at the same time create new sources of energy, even for specific or restricted uses.

It is important to continue researching, developing and creating ways to create gas, electricity, compost at an affordable cost, using alternative systems such as through polluted water.

If it is possible to improve and create new sources of energy production in an ecological way, several environmental problems will be solved and the world's energy capacity will be increased.

I stand up very well k there are many researchers to be able to use all the water because it takes a lot and we should not waste it and those who put this news stand up very well, thank you very much to I turned on a lot of this, the water is very important for all human beings.

What would it be like to create energy from water through electrolysis and link with Hydrogen cells?
