Yesterday the French authorities were notified when it happened an explosion at a nuclear power plant in the city of Flamanville. As always happens with this type of event, the alarm sounded, but finally it seems that everything is under control.
At the moment it is known that only five people have been intoxicated by inhalation of smoke, although his condition is not serious, so everything seems to have been a mere scare. With these types of events, he often brings out the permanent "fear" of nuclear, and more so after what happened with Fukushima.

The event occurred at 10:00 local time inside a machine room. At least 7 people were there according to local newspapers. The authorities have already announced that there is no risk of contamination, since that explosion occurred in an area where the reactor has not yet been installed.
The reason for the explosion is due to a serious technical failure by a representative of the prefecture of La Mancha, the area where the plant is located. It has remained nothing more than a minor incident.
This plant belongs to the Electricite de France (EDF) company and on the same plant there are currently two nuclear reactors in operation that were built in 1986 and 1987. The third reactor would be scheduled to be launched next year.
