Piezoelectric energy converts human motion into electricity

Piezoelectric plates are a technology that allows convert the footsteps, jumps and steps of people in energy electrical. In a more general way, it can be said that energy can be generated from the pressure exerted by one body on another, it is what is called mechanical energy and the material on which it is exerted must be piezoelectric.

On April 13, Movistar surprised with an advertising campaign in which by installing piezo electric plates on the floor of the Bernabeu Football Stadium, they produced 8.400 watts per second with which electricity was generated in the town of Patones de Arriba, in Madrid, so that its inhabitants could see the Real Madrid-Málaga match on a giant LED screen.

Used in large areas with a lot of traffic, these plates are a good alternative to renewable energy and in fact there are already countries like Japan and Israel that are in the research process, the first to generate electricity through the users of the Metro de Japan and the second to generate it with the passage of cars that travel the roads of Israel. On Spain the municipalities of Madrid, Castilla León and the Basque Country have been interested in piezoelectric energy.

Piezoelectric materials are those that generate electricity when they are pressed or subjected to friction, such as Quartz, Rubidio Sal de Seignette, Ceramics, Piezoelectric ceramics, Technical ceramics. They are natural materials but they have also been artificially created to improve their availability and efficiency.

Piezoelectric energy has many applications but the most common use that we know is the ignition of lighters that is produced by the blow that we produce on a minimum piezoelectric plate that is capable of producing the spark. Another use is the one that produces the vibration of mobile phones.

The use of these physical-electrical phenomena on certain materials represent an infinite source of renewable energy using the human movement what is a raw material inexhaustible.

Well, I am an electronics student and I think this is more magnificent, in terms of renewable energy, just thinking about how much energy a city would release would reach high levels both to cover its expenses and that of more cities surrounding them

It would be great to know the exact composition of those plates: T

Fallacy. It is not an "infinite source" of energy, nor is human movement an inexhaustible raw material.

While piezoelectricity is real, you use it in the chuficlick. It was discovered by Pierre Curie more than 100 years ago. The fallacy is that it is not free. Beyond that to build the device it is necessary to spend a lot of oil (it has a considerable carbon footprint and ecological footprint), its operation also requires energy! YOUR energy. To put it in physiological terms, the body works by eating sweets and the equivalent energy of the sugar consumed is much more than what is recovered in the light of the bulb. Nothing comes out of nowhere, said citizen Chiang Tsu.

In a major University of Medellín Colombia, the efficient and profitable replacement of fossil fuels has been invented.
The new energy is clean, renewable, silent, inexhaustible, it does not have to be transported because it is produced in the same place of consumption.
It's called the PASCAL PIEZOELECTRIC GENERATOR.
We can avoid CLIMATE CHANGE and achieve SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.
